Certification for Electrical product
Hi everyone
Need Advise : i wanted to know what sort of certificate needed to sell Electrical Product on Amazon Uk.
my supplier said they have CE, Rohs certificate but sometime It difficult to believe Chines certificate or Amazon may ask other thing
i have contacted Amazon and i was told that i need following things as mentioned below
Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994
Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 1994
Several BSI-approved standards e.g. BS 1363, BS 1362, BS 4573
So please tell me what is needed and where to seek help

You’ll need to research the specific rules for the UK and possibly the EU as well, and make sure you comply with them.

It not Amazon rules but rules laid down by the UK government you need to be aware of. A quick google search can tell you everything you need to know. This from the UK government website
