Hermes -return to sender
Has anyone had issues this week with Hermes? We had two parcels returned today, no attempted delivery and the tracking says the customer requested the return. This was not the case as I have checked with the customer.

Keep any evidance from the Courier Company of this.
Under the Consumer Contract Regulations, what replaced “Distance Selling”, it closed a loophole.
In a situation like this, while the customer has a right to cancel the contract in 14 days, unless it says otherwise in the terms, the seller has to still pay the cost of sending and returning an item.
Therefore, your customer under the law is only due what the item price is, not the delivery charge back.
Amazon might say that there policy is not this for good customer experiance, but that is how it sits in UK law.
