Account Hacked Help need
Good afternoon
My friend’s account and email were hacked by someone and he tried to contact Amazon for the last two days but no one from amazon come back he call so many times but the support team keep asking for 24 hours to wait. Twitter people also give links and ask to wait.
Now today hacker deleted all listings
Can someone help me so that we can tell amazon what happened and they can help to recover the account?

has he got access to change the password and the OTP?
Have you tried amazon customer services to get the buying side account of the account reset then they can work on fixing the rest once the hacker no longer has access?

Thanks, we tried both number like nearly now 50+ times and they all the times told they are from customer services and they can’t help.

When I had mine hacked, customer services were able to reset all the details because the login is the same from both sides.

I’m a bit confused as to why they’d delete the listings though unless its to cause disruption rather than make money, surely a random hacker would be more likely to change the bank details somehow and keep selling?

Out of interest what sort of protection can everyone use to make sure this doesn’t happen to them?
Currently I have Amazon OTP with an authenticator and the same thing to log into my email.
Is that enough?

It cannot be called ‘hack’ … Getting into Amazon account is harder getting into Pentagon…How did you managed to get it hacked?

I am in the same position. I had my account hacked 2 days ago and they listed high end items. They managed to add their own email and mobile number. The only way I could access was phoning through my partners prime account and speaking to someone that way.
My account is now deactivated and suspended.
Nightmare. I was going around in circles too. It’s made me ill.
