Does anyone sell non-handmade as well as on Handmade?

Hello,

I have been selling on Handmade for a while and am looking to start selling some unrelated non-handmade items on Amazon (not passing them off as handmade I should add!).

Seller support tell me it is OK for me to list under other categories from my Handmade account but I want to try to distinguish between the handmade and non-handmade items (so if someone clicks on my storefront they see only the relevant products). Ideally I would also want to use a different business name for the non-handmade.

I wonder if there is any way to separate out the products into two ‘storefronts’? (other than creating a second account - according to Seller support I would need to supply them with endless details which I feel at the moment I probably wouldn’t be able to do)

As an additional query, if anyone sells on both platforms what happens with regards to the monthly fee (not an important consideration at present though).

Thanks in advance for anyone’s input and help!
Neil.

I have products in both Handmade and non-handmade categories. My Handmade ‘storefront’ doesn’t list or show any of the non-handmade items. So you don’t need to separate them. You won’t have any kind of storefront for the non-handmade items though.

If I remember right, as long as you sell under a certain amount of non-handmade products (or is it have under a certain amount of non-handmade products?), you won’t be charged the monthly fee.

Hi @NBPhotography,
Thanks so much for your reply - it answers my queries perfectly! Obviously I don’t want non-handmade to ‘dilute’ my handmade store. Shame that you can’t get a storefront for the non-handmade but that’s a minor issue.
Thanks again for taking the time to reply, and your images are beautiful!

Thanks very much @Adrian that really helps - it would be good if this info was somewhere easy to find (I’m sure it is there somewhere, but nowhere I could find!)
Thanks again.
