Valid tracking rates
Good day,
We are having valid tracking rate issues and would appreciate some assistance.
Due to contracted selling rights we are only able to offer seller fulfilled at this time. We are not able to offer prime as our warehouse is not prime ready. We simply wish to take orders for our products on Amazon and ship them via a next day courier Monday to Friday.
Our warehouse currently has courier collection from both DPD local (Not DPD RED) and DHL parcel UK (Not DHL express). Amazon doesn’t recognise these couriers and we are getting constant valid tracking rate issues. Unfortunately we are unable to setup a DPD red account because we have a DPD local account.
Our items are bulky and heavy cases of drinks, we are unable to use Royal Mail. We decided to give Hermes a try through buy shipping as the only other valid option. Unfortunately this has proved non viable.
We have not selected DPD as an option on our shipping template but occasionally we are forced to buy a DPD shipping label.
Please can anyone recommend how we might connect with one courier that can collect all of our Amazon parcels and provide valid tracking rates?
Many thanks

how are you recording the shipment on your orders ?
are you using the drop down options and uploading the tracking numbers manually or do you use a 3rd party to send over the info to amazon ?
you’d need it show as one of these with the tracking number being between 10 and 18 characters long for it to be valid

Works fine and has done for a while. I suggest you change all invalid to above and VTR report will improve in about 72 hours.

Hello @Jimmy_s_Iced_Coffee,
Thank you for reaching out to the forum’s community.
From the post, we understand that you have concern regarding valid tracking rate.
We recommend you to check all tracking information and validate whether those are valid and take necessary action to get back on track at earliest.
Additionally, kindly draft a plan of action proactively for the same in below format and submit it to selling partner support by raising a case.
– The root cause(s) of the low valid tracking rate
– The actions you have taken to comply with Amazon’s Valid Tracking Rate Policy
– The steps you have taken to prevent violations of Amazon’s Valid Tracking Rate Policy going forward
**How do I maintain a healthy Valid Tracking Rate?
Kindly follow the steps mentioned:
-
Purchase shipping labels through Amazon’s Buy Shipping services
-
Choose carriers that are integrated with Amazon
-
Verify that the carrier name and tracking ID are entered correctly and belong to the same carrier
-
Confirm (and update if necessary) the tracking information before the carrier delivers the package to the customer

I also use DPD Local, I do use shipping management software to upload however on the rare occasion’s when inputing manually, I have worked out you need to enter the parcel number, rather than the consignment number to get a valid tracking number.
This is the longer number on the label, rather than the consignment number which DPD gives you on the My DPD app.
I hope this helps!

This is similar to Yodel, which I use for some of mine.
I put the long number under the barcode as the tracking number, as that is the one that is scanned.
Yodel’s own tracking number is only for use on their website (so guess similar to consignment number for DPD). My VTR is 100% by doing this.

DPD (Blue) used to be called interlink express. So use DPD IE instead of DPD. You should find the tracking number is then valid.

Hi We use DHL formally uk mail and have 100% tracking rate showing on VTR. It was showing n/a up until about 2 weeks ago as the system could not track uk mail which in the drop down is DHL PARCEL UK but now uk mail ones are being picked up . Our bulk despatch feed we just put DHL and its all ok.
