Bulk Update Pricing
Ok - memory has gone AWOL
I sell on Handmade and update/add new products individually throughout the year.
I basically sell one type of product in multiple variations so the price is the same for all my products.
Once a year I re-assess my costs and, if necessary, adjust my pricing (using a downloaded template) but every year I have to re-figure out how it works and pretty much come up with a different variation on how to do it each year. It should be easy 'cos I know that’s how everyone does it but I’m blowed if I can figure it out this year!
I’ve managed to download an empty template (Inventory > Add Products via Upload) but how do I populate it with my Inventory?
And is this the right way to do it anyway given I only want to update prices? It feels like a SledgeHammer to crack a Nut at the best of times… and this year I can’t find the SledgeHammer.

If you are using a Flat Inventory Loader:
SKU: Your Product Sku
Product ID: Either ASIN or EAN (If you download your full inventory; Inventory>Inventory reports, you can Vlookup against the SKU to get the EAN)
Product ID Type: ASIN or EAN
Price: Change the price as needed
Item Condition: New (if new of course) Code for New is 11
Add-Delete: Partial Update
Then upload.
For some reason you also HAVE to fill out the following:
batteries_required
are_batteries_included
supplier_declared_dg_hz_regulation1

I just thought i’d test something and it has worked for me.
Inventory>Inventory Reports> Active Listings Report.
Download this, change your prices, save as a .txt (tab delimited) file and then re-upload.
