Read onlyI'm a seller with Amazon and have an outstanding balance of over £1000, for almost 6 months, my account has been deactivated and I'm not willing to sell again on Amazon.
I asked them 50 times to send me my last disbursement and close my account and they always keep giving excuses. Now they said my business in the company's house showing dormant, which is nothing to do with my payment as my business bank account is active and verified.
I spoke to a lawyer who said my payment has nothing to do with my business status in the company's house as long as my bank account is verified.
They closed all my communication channels with me, very strange
I've been advised to escalate a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman and take legal action.
Do you any had this issue before? and what can I do to sort it out for now, please?
It's not too clear how you've been asking, but disbursement-appeals@amazon.co.uk is the email address to request payment.
As for closing the account, that can't be done whilst it is deactivated.
Regarding the company being dormant and whether that matters if the bank account account is still open, i don't think that's as clear cut as you believe.
if your Amazon account is in the name of the dormant business account then Amazon can’t pay you as your business cant be verified as up and running. Should your bank account still be active if its in the dormant business name?
Hope this doesn’t sound too judgemental but it is probably the reason behind Amazon not paying you,
