Hidden on my own listing?

Morning all,

I’m having trouble with one of my listings
B07YX79HL3
I offer all of the styles on display here and yes I do not have the buy box on the ones shared with competitors. I know that is price and FB related.

But on two of the styles I am the only seller currently offering the style (dogs, cats) But there is no buy Box available on them! But rather a grey button that says
‘one available at’ this is also how it shows on the swatch pictures
This is quite perturbing. I makes my offering look less legit. We are of course FBA.

Any suggestions?

Yes amazon will ‘hide’ ie not give the buy box to prices they deem too high - they even check them against the prices off amazon

It’s because the price is much higher - £33.95 compared to £17.99 for the other variation of the same product

Ahh thank you. So the system purposely dissuades customers from me even with out direct competition. we will just have to wait until our competitors finish giving it away for pennies I guess. cheers

Amazon use the average historical selling price for this, along with current pricing from external websites, so even if your competitors sell out that might not open up the buy box for you.

Currently I see you have the buy-box on all but one style (dogs), though since our account is set up as a business and you have VAT numbers registered your VAT-free pricing (£27.46 excl. VAT on the “cats” design) is what competes for the buy-box when I view the products.
It might be worth lowering the price of the dogs design to match cats (which is £1 cheaper) to see if that allows you to compete for the buybox

Yes.

It also seems to be somewhat selective as well. I once sold a product at the same price as another seller and they had the buy box. Then they sold out and I assumed I’d get the buy box… Wrong, Amazon hid the buy box, even though I had perfect metrics.
