Amazon PPC Charges?

Hi all,

I have a question in regards to PPC

I understand that the charges are taken from your available balance for advertising

However…

I want to know if I would be charged straight away if the click wasnt to convert into a sale.

For example, my account balance is currently at £0.00 as I have not sold anything just yet, If i was to receive 1 click or more and none of the turn into a sale, I take it my account balance would go to negative, If so am I charged straight away via my linked credit card or is there a certain time period that amazon take payment for a negative account balance? EG. daily, weekly or monthly?

Some clarification on this would be great.
