ODR Metric is above 1%, lost buy box eligibility on all listings

I have recently had two A-Z claims that Amazon granted to the buyer despite tracking by Evri showing the item was delivered. Unfortunately, as one proof of delivery did not show any photo of the house/open door and just had the GPS location and for the other, the buyer says that is not her open door. Amazon have denied the appeals.

As sales have been down, this has had a bigger affect on my metrics than ever before

As a result, i have noticed that i have lost the buy box on all my listings and Amazon have confirmed i am no longer eligible for the buy box. My listings are my own brand so i am usually the only seller on the listings. My account is still valid, all my listings are active and account health still says ‘Good’.

I have asked seller support about what i can do to to improve this metric as amazon have not requested any plan of action etc from me but seller support only says ‘We aren’t able to disclose all factors that go into Buy Box eligibility. Meeting these targets does not necessarily guarantee eligibility.’

I asked if it would help me improve my metrics by using FBA or SFP for more of my listings but once again they say they are unable to disclose.

Has anyone experienced anything similar and did any orders still come through despite buyers not seeing a buy now button. Without new orders, i dont see how i can improve my metrics in order to bring the ODR rate down. Will FBA or SFP help this metric.

I would be grateful for any advice.

As the only seller, you should still get sales - even without the BB
Can you increase your sales to water down the odr % ?

Hi,
We tried to water down the metric as best as we could by reducing prices of some of our lines that perform well to still get sales however, I think in the end, you do just have to ride it out until the defects fall off your metrics.

In the meantime, we made sure the rest of our metrics stayed good. It’s a very stressful time especially at this time when sales are down. Hope it is sorted for you asap
