Individual units on a pallet + FBA shipping labels
Hi everyone, various prior threads on this topic have indicated that one should not need to include an FBA shipping label on every box, if each box is a of a final packed SKU, ready for shipping by Amazon. The FNSKU is on each box, of course.
However, we got flagged for this with this warning stating that "Individual units that sit on pallets without exterior cartons still require a unique FBA shipment label. These labels are required so the original shipment can be identified once the pallet is unpacked."
Is this new? It's so crazy to have the box that'll be sent to a customer completely covered in endless labels. We can generate these labels with the Pack Group Excel Upload (1 item per box). Obviously, we'll do it if we have to (which sounds like we do) but wanted to post because all old threads on this say that this is not required.
Given the size and weight of each unit's box, overboxing these ready-to-ship boxes seems wasteful and unnecessary, even if it would cut down on labeling a bit.
Thanks!

Hi @Seller_U2xVlzvT1EOKX, each box in the shipment must have its own FBA box ID label printed from your shipment workflow.
Shipment label requirements has more information. Let me know if this helps!

Hey Ketan,
Did you submit a dispute for this? I'm about to send in my first pallet to FBA and I'm also confused about the feedback.
I'm selling acrylic sheets (1/4" thick sheets of 18x24" or 24x36" used for like wedding signs or replacing windows etc.). Each unit is individually boxed and clearly labeled with their FNSKU. Between 80 - 120 then sit directly on a pallet (not in case-packs) to be shipped to Amazon.
Of course the pallet will be wrapped and labeled with pallet labels, but it seem really strange to have to also label each of the 80 - 120 boxes individually with inbound FBA shipping box labels. The customer really shouldn't see those labels, in the same way the customer doesn't see these labels on products sent via case-packs to FBA. If this really is required, it seems like a weird CX and a missed use-case on Amazon's part....
Let me know!
