Company dissolved via voluntary strike-off still selling on amazon

Hi

One seller’s company dissolved via voluntary strike-off still trading on amazon. How can we report this to HMRC and Amazon?

Is there are particular reason why you are pursuing another seller?
Seems a little extreme to be honest.

And just because the company has been struck off, doesn’t actually mean that they are doing anything wrong. They could well be in the process of changing things on Amazon. And we all know how long that can take!

Maybe just concentrate on your own business rather than trying to police Amazon on behalf of Amazon?

I wouldn’t bother, I know of a company director (not personally) who has opened and closed 3 companies, each with a slight spelling difference in company title.

They run the company and trade on Amazon as dropshippers with a virtual address, they have 1000’s and 1000’s of feedback.

They then allow the company to be struck off companies house by compulsory strike off and the following day restart with a new company and update Amazon.

No accounts have been submitted in over 5 years. Never been picked up by Amazon or HMRC as they are still trading now…

It is possible they dissolved a ltd company but are trading under a partnership or as a sole trader.

Sound like school boys. Where Im from Snitches get… And if you can’t compete with a competitor then you don’t have the buying power and buying skills. Personally if someone was to compete with us, and after constantly matching our price to their price and not being successful, we would then drop prices where they won’t be making profit, simple as that. I know for a fact our competitors hate us but business is business.

What’s it any of your business? Are they a competitor?

Why not focus on offering your customers a better experience / better products and grow your business in an honest fashion?

I really feel sometimes like I’m the only person who doesn’t look up my competitors or care what they are doing, or what price they are selling things at. The thought has definitely never crossed my mind to check them out on CH etc. I just set the price I want to sell things at, list them, and carry on with my own business. I have noticed in the past that when I go to list something Amazon tells me theres already one listed at stupid low prices, but I just set my own and ignore it, either they made an error which will get fixed, or they’ve set a low price to get sales moving with a view to raising it, eventually they’ll sell out and mine will sell, I don’t get into 1p price to the bottom…Am I the one doing something wrong? lol
