ASIN Issues
So been selling a product on Amazon for last 10years without any problems. Obviously ASIN is an Amazon Standard Identification Number (ASIN) is a 10-character alphanumeric unique identifier assigned by Amazon.com.
Now my listing has been suspended as its owned by $WeaShaemgLi - strange because Amazon assigned the ASIN, we print our own labels, have no association with $WeaShaemgLi - our labels are purchased from a UK Supplier...
But get this only one (1) option of the product has been suspended - not the other quantities that we sell them in.
How can Amazon reallocate a ASIN to someone else?
Told by amazon that I cannot appeal the decision and have to apply to sell the product - its not even there's we make it.
At a loss as what to do.

Sounds/looks like the ASIN has been hijacked by some Chinese seller ?? - but haven't a clue what you can do ??

Very little you can do through the seller central channels you'll just have to get a case id but they wont/cant be bothered to understand the issue.
once you have a case id you'll need to try to attract the attention of one of the MODS on here by tagging their name (@Ezra_Amazon @Julia_Amazon @Sakura_Amazon_ @Sarah_Amzn @Simon_Amazon @Winston_Amazon) are a few but my details may be out of date assume its a job that no one really likes and either leave or get promoted.
It may be worth looking for some sales that occured before the change of "branding" to show that you were selling on the asin before the chinese jack sparrow came along.

Amazon assigns an ASIN to a product, not to any individual seller. E.G. a standard 40 pack of PG Tips tea bags would (or rather should!) have the same ASIN no matter who the seller is.
If you've been making and/or selling a product without holding design rights or any protection you have little argument as only the rights holder can challenge.
If however you also hold design rights then you can challenge, within Amazon brand registry should help you if you've registered it, otherwise you may face a court struggle against both Amazon and $WeaShaemgLi if they can be traced.

This has recently happened to another seller. Same brand hijacking the ASIN:

Case ID - 12008075722
Can anyone assist about hijacking a ASIN No - @NR_Amazon @Jonathan_Amazon @Dougal_Amazon @Indy_Amazon @Jameson_Amazon @Ana_Amazon @Josh_Amazon @Roberto_Amazon @Amyy_Amazon @Zyan_Amazon @Yujiro_Amazon @Ezra_Amazon @Julia_Amazon @Sakura_Amazon_ @Sarah_Amzn @Simon_Amazon @Winston_Amazon
