Amazon Warehousing and Distribution (AWD) is a low-cost bulk storage and logistics solution that enables you to replenish fulfilment centres and other distribution channels in the US.

If you’re already a Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) seller, there’s no additional enrolment fee for the programme. You’ll only be charged a transportation fee when you send your inventory to our warehousing and distribution facilities, and there are no additional costs for the holiday season.

The benefits of AWD include the following:

• Low-cost storage: Save more on fulfilment with low-cost bulk storage. AWD pricing covers FBA inventory placement, so there’s no separate charge for this service.
• Automatic replenishment: We’ll monitor your inventory levels in Prime-ready US fulfilment centres and replenish when needed so your products stay in stock and within FBA capacity limits.
• Flexibility: Multi-channel distribution allows you to use a single pool of inventory to reach customers on Amazon.com and beyond our store.
• Supply chain integration: You can use Amazon Global Logistics and an Amazon partnered carrier to ship inventory in bulk to AWD.

We’re updating our FBA inventory required removals policy to create more room for your products and help you save on storage fees.

Starting September 16, 2024, if you haven’t enabled automated unfulfillable settings in the UK or EU, we will dispose of or donate unfulfillable inventory after 23 days’ notice instead of 30.

To avoid disposal, you can create a manual removal order or configure automated settings to:

• Liquidate: to recover some value; or
• Return: to have inventory sent to your return-to address or a third-party freight forwarder.

Once we create a disposal order after 23 days’ notice, it can’t be cancelled.
