Does return address need to be in country of purchase / sales network country?
Hi,
Italian customer purchased 9 units of the same size and wanted to return 5 of them. Gave them our UK returns address but they opened an A-to-z Claim citing ‘not as described’ (which wasn’t true, they just want to return the surplus).
In the A-z, I stated my case that the customer was free to return the items for a refund, and that I had provided our UK return address. However the Amazon rep replied in the A-z asking me for our Italian returns address. We don’t have any address in Italy for them to return it. Is this required?
Can we not insist that the customer return them to the UK? Are we obliged to provide return addresses in the sales network from which the item was purchased? This item was merchant fulfilled.
Thanks for any help on this.

You are either required to provide a return address in Italy or a pre-paid return label from Italy to the UK.
