Trademark Violation

by Seller_Dt6jdZM3GXw2S

I’ve received a trademark violation on a product with about 7 other sellers, all of which also appear to be resellers of the beauty category. There have been no historic IP complaints, or PL complaints.

I have received a complaint from the brand owner for parallel imports to the UK and Europe.
I have only purchased from a UK retailer at a retail price and resold them on Amazon. I have all the invoices for my purchases as well.

Where do I stand with submitting an appeal?

Unfortunately that’s the problem

Many brands only allow certain retail stores to stock their products and don’t allow amazon resales etc

RA on amazon is not viable - for this and many other reasons

It maybe helpful if you post the ASIN for more in depth analysis.

However if you brought from a retailer such as Boots and it is branded such as No 7 or Soap and Glory then it is unlikely there will be anyway back from this.

It is lucky it is a parallel import as you can normally recall stock from Amazon if you hold your stock there. If it was a counterfeit allegation you normally can’t recall stock.

Hi,

Did you buy from a retailer or distributor as they are totally different things?

Buying from retail or anywhere other than from the legitimate brand owners choice of distributor is a no go on Amazon, regardless of your invoices or receipts it will not fly, if you want to engage in this type of selling then stick to the other sites where you can do this.
Brand owners will not tolerate reselling of retail items bought from their customers.

I’ve pulled all my stock and acknowledged the violation.

To recap, I can only purchase stock from the brand owner themselves or their distributor and sell it as new? Wouldn’t I need the brand owners permission to sell it from their distributor?
