How can I report fake products if I am not the brand owner
Does anybody know the best way to report fake items on Amazon if they are not the brand owner? The only route I have found is where you have to be the brand and rights owner. General Seller Support is not very good because you just get a generic reply that doesn't answer the question.
Amazon has been swamped with listings for fake memory cards recently where they are advertised as 512GB or 1TB but they are actually only 32GB or 64GB cards with false partitions on them to look like they are full capacity and labelled as 512GB or 1TB. This is clearly false advertising and illegal. Is there a good email address that I can use to inform somebody at Amazon about it and who will take it seriously? The site has many of these listings and they are all using ppc to appear at the top of the pages and selling for very low prices (because they cost them peanuts due to being low capacity cards)
I have thought about going to Trading Standards but I imagine that could be a lengthy process.

The only thing you could do is register a complaint for individual items you purchase, and even then there's no guarantee Amazon will act in response besides giving you your refund.
Trading Standards is probably your best bet. You could also try contacting the brand owners to alert them to the situation. they likely don't want fake products on the market damaging their brand and are in a better position to take action than you are.
