Promotional Rebates

What is a promotional rebate?

A promotional rebate represents the discount amount Amazon charges back to your seller account when you run a promotion (like percentage-off deals or buy-one-get-one offers) in your Amazon storefront.

Here's how it works:

* When a customer buys your product with a promotion, Amazon initially credits your account with the full product price

* Amazon then charges back the discount amount as a "promotional rebate"

* Example: If you sell a $100 item with a 20% off promotion, you'll see:

* A $100 credit (full price)

* A $20 promotional rebate charge

You can track promotional rebates in your Payment Reports under the "Other" transaction type. For detailed transaction information, check the "transaction-type" column in your report.

To learn more about creating and managing promotions, visit the Promotions section in Seller Central Help.

Thanks,

Joey
