Account Verification takes too long
Hi,
My account is been verify since more than a month now.
Despite the fact that I found this a bit long, my main problem is the lack of communication.
When asking to support they always request to send a email to the verification team, but the only answer we get is an automated reply with the same info… sad.
I just need a time frame so that I can organise my business. If it’s 3 month it’s fine ! but please let us know !

It really is as simple as that! Verification can take days, weeks or months and varies from person to person.

As Rugsy states , there is no answer to this . Just so you know , my first verification took 9 months , and the second took many months too . Cannot recall how long the second one took but it was much much longer than the month you have experienced so far

After reading things on here i was worried when i got requested for verification last Thursday evening. Submitted my documents, was verified by the time i woke up on Friday morning.

I’m french but living in Mauritius Island and the company I used to register is located in Mauritius. I also had to use a Payoneer Account (as Amazon do not allow to connect a Mauritius Bank account… weird)
Any way, do you thinks this can be the reason ?
If I open it with my french company would it be faster ?
There were really fast to reply to me when one of my document wasn’t correct (like 2 hours) but as soon as they got everything they just became silent… it’s quite funny regarding the fact that they are promoting on French TV to boost merchant subscription…

It took 2.5 month approximately.
To be honest no I haven’t bombarded them with email or other, which I guess can be unproductive a the end. (there is human behind an email, so been polite is always good practice and more efficient when you ask something ) but I was contacting them around once every 2 week let say, just checking if their automatic reply was still working
On the other side I talk to them because they charged me the 25 Pounds so I was asking for a refund (because I wasn’t verified), may be it helped…
Also be aware that you can still use their other services (like FBA) if you sell on your own platform (I do not right now, but I was thinking doing it if I couldn’t be approved within the next month).
