Amazon UK Account dropped from 500 points 24 and will be suspended due "Plugs and Sockets policy violations"
Dear community and support,
we are located in germany and sell since 10 years to the UK and do obey the plugs and sockets regulation.
We had 500 points and green account health.
Within just 3-4 weeks we received 50 (!) high policy violations as some ASINs would infringe the Plugs and Sockets guideline.
"The sale of products that are not fitted with either (i) a UK 3-pin plug, or (ii) a non-UK plug permanently fitted with a UK safety-approved conversion plug are prohibited on Amazon.co.uk. For more information on prohibited and approved plugs, please search for the 'Electrical Goods Requirements: Plugs and Sockets' help page in Seller Central. We leveraged a combination of automated means to identify this issue and to make this decision."
- some photos showed a 2 PIN plug
- some vendors added the wording "EU PLUG" to the title
- some vendors did choose the plug type "EU PLUG" as attribute
We explained the account health several times that we do adapt PERMANENT and BSI proven adaptors to all our articles. They asked us to upload photos to the detail page what we did - but as the ASIN if removed it seems like we can not edit the page.
Even the technical support couldnt help us to REMOVE the wrong and untrue data / images / title from the ASINs.
Our account will be suspended in 72h now i no one can tell me how we can get those violations removed.
Are we the only ones with this issue?
Thanks for any suggestions or workarounds
Heiko

Hey there @Seller_uhkB29M5BpNm0,
Were you able to rectify the violations?

Hello, same here, French seller, for a few days we have the same notifications for ASINS created by manufacturers. Our account has been suspended (136 points), the support is useless, does not understand anything and answers us with preformatted messages. After several years on Amazon UK we stop selling here.
