Can I delete and re-list listing that has restricted product policy violation?

Hello,
I received restricted product policy violations for my new listing because of wrong information on my product description and after deleting my listing the violation has gone from the account health page, now can I create a new listing for the same product with the same UPC code or is it against amazon policy?
I appreciate any advice on this. Thanks.

I'm in the same boat, did you get it fixed?

You can create a new listing, but Amazon will recognize the UPC and assign it to the same ASIN, so it won’t really be new.

It will still be restricted, but you should be able to change the description to fix it (presuming it is fixable). Which you should have done in the first place instead of deleting it.

Hello @ULAB,

Alberto here with some help. I understand from your post, you were able to remove a restricted product violation from your account health page and have deleted it from your inventory:

You mention having received the violation for having wrong information on the detail page. What exactly was on the detail page that caused the restricted product violation? Why did Amazon think you had a restricted product?

As @ToySeller101 correctly mentioned:

If you were to relist the same product again, you could potentially receive a repeat violation which weighs heavily against your account health rate and could put your account in danger of deactivation. I would suggest you look into the restricted product policy further and verify that it stemmed from the mistake on the detail page before you create a new listing for the same product.

Feel free to reply to this thread if you have any additional questions or concerns.

Best,
Alberto
