Having the below error again. Had this back mid august and it went but has come back this morning, meaning we are unable to ship any Amazon Business orders.
"Invoice by Amazon orders can only be shipped from locations where you have a valid VAT registration number. Go to 'Shipping Settings > General Shipping Settings' to add a valid default delivery address in your VAT registered country"
We are fully VAT registered/verified and have been for years on Amazon, this is clearly showing this morning as verifed too.
We have checked the addresses match, of which they do, exactly.

I checked you last post about this same issue and saw that the issue was not because of any VAT registrations, but about the orders being in Pending status.
Have you checked if the affected orders are in Pending Order status again?
"You won't be able to confirm shipment of an order until the order status changes from Pending to Unshipped."

I get the same. I had it about a month ago, logged a seller support case but it's been opened and "being investigated" for that long.
At the time I added my home address to the ship-to addresses, which is where my business and VAT number are registered too.
But now it's doing it again, even with that.
I have tried
- To add a new ship-to address, that does not work.
- to change our default shipping address to our registered address to see if that works, it does not
- to change our shipping template to use that despatch address, but that does not work.
Previously I only had a problem with Buy Shipping, now I can't even mark as despatched on the order using direct Royal Mail label.

Only by deactivating Invoice By Amazon and then reactivating.
However reactivation takes 7 days so today I will find out, however I predict the same issue!!

hi! We have found a fix for this, it was being caused beacuse our deliery address for returns was different to our business address, once we fixed this the issue went away and we where able to update tracking for "late" orders affected by this too!
