Subject: Assistance Required for Reimbursement on A-to-Z Claim
Hi All,
Could someone advise on how to get reimbursed for an order refunded by Amazon after a buyer filed an A-to-Z claim? The parcel was delivered after the buyer received the refund.
We appealed the decision but received an automated response stating the appeal was denied. Despite sending two follow-up emails to customer, we haven't received a response. We also emailed the Managing Director's office and received a reply stating the email was received and will be reviewed in 2-3 days.
This situation has left us out of pocket, even though the delivery photo clearly shows the parcel being handed over to someone at the buyer’s address with an open door. Unfortunately, Amazon seems unwilling to acknowledge this evidence.
Any help or advice on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Was it delivered after the expected delivery date?@ If so, I think the a to z stands - if its a large amount you could consider small claims to Amazon

Hi,
Yes, the parcel was delivered on 11/11/24, but the order states it should have been delivered by 7/11/24. However, Royal Mail attempted delivery on 7th, 8th, and 9th, but no one was available to receive the parcel on those dates. They finally managed to deliver it on 11/11/24.

You wont get this decision altered if the parcel arrived late (no matter whose fault it is).

Yes, the order was eventually delivered, but only after Amazon issued a refund. It’s important to note that the courier made several delivery attempts prior to this. Unfortunately, no one was available to receive the order during those attempts, which was beyond our control.
We believe this situation wasn’t our fault, as we fulfilled our obligations by shipping the item on time and providing all necessary delivery details.

It could well be that the customer deliberately did not receive the parcel so they could then raise an A-Z. Once the A-Z was settled they could then collect the parcel knowing there was nothing you could do
Was it a large value order? If so it may well have been there way of getting a freebie.
