Only an account that has not been suspended can be closed.
A suspended account can not be closed. Though it may be possible to delete the buyer side of the account. I do not recommend this, however. As if you ever wish to sell here again you will not be able to access the account to activate it.

Accounts may not be closed unless they are in good standing. Asking in here for Amazon to do something is a waste of time. This is no better communication avenue than sticking your head out the window and hollering.
Doesn't matter though, the account cannot be closed. If you are unable to follow through to save the account just walk away. Downgrade to individual first.

Oh, why? Do you want to open another one?

Okay. I deleted your deactivated account.
If you see next month that you are charged the professional selling fee, let me know and I will delete it again...

You do know that this is a forum by other sellers like yourself. If you want to contact Amazon, you need to go through Seller Support by opening a case. If you signed up for a pro account which has a monthly fee, you can request that it be changed to an individual account which has no monthly fee associated with it.

Why is your account deactivated?
If it is suspended or was not fully verified, you can't even close it.
As to Deleting? There isn't really such a thing.
If you have an account or have ever had an account that is NOT allowed to sell on amazon, you can never have another account allowed to sell on amazon until or unless you fix the account that is not allowed to sell on amazon. If the suspended account or deactivated account can't be fixed, then it can't be closed/deleted and you can't open a new account.

Amazon will retain account data forever to prevent you from creating a new one and in case if the reason of deactivation will lead to further escalation (lawsuit, etc)
