Certificate for USB cable?
Hello, I got a problem with usb cable, Amazon asking for certificate. I tried explain as it not plug straight to wall or you can use it for data sync, but they ignoring me. Can I sort it out without certificates ? Here is amazon message :
This type of product will still fall within the chargers category because it is an item being used to charge an electronic device, as such it carries a restriction.
The only way to get approval to list and sell the item would be to provide the documents that are requested in the application workflow.
It is for a category so you will only need to apply once for chargers, meaning that both of your items will be eligible to list once you have approval for one of them.

If you are having a difficulty getting approved in a restricted category, I would advise you to wait a few months and then request the approval again.
Most sellers get approved automatically without having to supply any documents thanks to their good selling history on Amazon.
In order to achieve this, you must spend some time selling different products.

To be sold in the UK (or elsewhere in the EU) items must meet applicable EU product safety standards, and must display that conformity with the relevant CE mark. There will also be a certificate of conformity issued to the manufacturer. That is what Amazon are asking you to supply. If you don’t have one, you cannot list it.
