How long can I wait before I can close a return/refund request if the buyer doesn't return the item so i can get my money?

How long can I wait before I can close a return/refund request if the buyer doesn't return the item so i can get my money?

The buyer's reason for return is "wrong item was sent" and I know it wasn't the case.

Amazon Auto-authorized it but no prio-refund was applied and under the "return Item Details," the Resolution is "StandardRefund"

A prepaid label was provided, I attempted to track it; however, the status says Pre-Shipment, the carrier Awaiting Item.

I have contacted the buyer and they never reply.

I attempted to read through the seller university about "Manage seller-fulfilled returns" but wasn't able to answer my question.

How can I go about this, please?

We close ours on day 31. We use the BUYER DID NOT RETURN as the reason.

Before you close out the return request, you should make sure you allowed the required period of time for that buyer to ship the return to you. Note that most items bought on Amazon.com, including those that are seller-fulfilled, can be returned within 30 days of the Estimated Delivery Date. However, the timing may vary based on the product category in accordance to Amazon’s Return policies. To determine if a product has a longer return timeline, go to Amazon.com Returns Policy. Following authorization of a return request, the buyer has 15 days after the return window closes, allowing for transit time for a buyer to return an item.
