Read onlyI have three names, but when my company was registered, the government only used my first name and surname—placing the surname first and the first name second. I entered my business data on Amazon the same way, and they approved it.
However, I’m unable to get my LUCID number verified. I entered the same data there, but it keeps getting rejected. The error message states that I either didn’t submit the LUCID number or that it is invalid.
I’ve had multiple calls and back-and-forth ticket exchanges with Amazon Support, but they haven’t been able to identify the issue. It’s been nearly four months, and all they keep saying is: Wait for two days. Then another two days. Then another… and so on. That’s how four months have passed.
Does anyone know if I should update my business data on Amazon and LUCID to include all three of my names? Or would it be better to create a new LUCID number, considering that Amazon’s system seems stuck on verifying my current one?
Hello @Seller_MqS8PsGnLylRC,
please check out the article on "How does Amazon validate my LUCID number?" on the help page Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements: Packaging in Germany.
Is the information on the LUCID number registration exactly the same as in Amazon (especially the two names instead of 3)?
Best,
Emma
