How long does a customer have to return a product from the date of the request?

Hi,
Can anyone help me please on getting an answer to a question as I cannot get one from Amazon.
I received a return yesterday from a customer for a product purchased 66 days ago.
They opened the return request 47 days ago.
The return request was automatically approved by Amazon.
I sent a polite note to the customer reminding them that as it is a bedding product for health and hygiene regulations the item could not be returned if it has been used.
This is in my return policy and also in Amazons own return policy.
So yesterday I received the return of a used goose feather mattress topper and contacted Amazon for advice on how to proceed.
One of my questions which no one seems to be able to answer is, Once a return request has been accepted time frame does the customer have to send the return.

A few questions:

Was it FBA or FBM?
Was it the item you originally sold?

Regarding the time frame, I believe returns were extended until end of this month for anything bought after October or something. Covid/Christmas has kind of messed everything up

Do not refund customers at the time a request is made, UNLESS YOU DO NOT WANT AN ITEM BACK.

Once you have the item back, you have the evidance to appeal an A to Z claim, if the item has been used.
