Click and Drop question
Does anyone know if you can process orders on Click and Drop and manifest them the next day?
I want to get some of my C&D parcels completed today but I am worried that the manifest will not pick them tomorrow.
I know I can adjust the date on Amazon buy shipping which is great as it lets me get ahead for Monday when we are busy. But I am not sure if or how I can do this on C&D. Not all my parcels can be bought on Amazon as they are international so need to use C&D for these but would really like to get them out the way today.

On the dashboard, go to miscellaneous, scroll to the bottom, change the option to “dispatch orders when labels are printed” - then you can print labels but manifest tomorrow.

Click n’ Drop orders are automatically manifested at 7PM on Monday to Friday.
e.g. Processing them after 7PM on a Monday will enable them to be either manually or automatically manifested the next day.

Out of curiosity, did it auto-manifest please? just asking as this is something I was also thinking of doing for the first time tonight as out early tomorrow on an all-day appointment …

Email the c and d team to allow you to use the future deaptch date button on each order. Then you can print labels any time but manifest on a Monday for example.

Yes, just generate the labels but do not dispatch them until the day you wish to send them. Once the orders are marked as dispatched the Royal Mail system will automatically manifest the items at midnight of that day. So as long as you leave them in the “Orders Ready to Dispatch” step they will not be manifested.
We do the above most Sundays, then dispatch and manifest them on Monday.

I just apply the postage and print the labels but dont mark them as dispatched they stay in the orders awaiting dispatch section for as long as you want.

I just print the labels as I go, and then click on “batch history” and “manifest all” when I am sending them. So since my post was collected I have carried on processing them and then tomorrow just before the collection I will “manifest all” and then print the manifest for the postie.
When I manifest it marks all the items despatched automatically, I don’t have to mark them, and it adds the tracking numbers automatically too.
So does everyone do it a different way then? I didnt even realise there was a different way, although I hadnt really thought about it!

I have had no issues as long as you dont mark them as dispatched they shouldnt manifest even in the week. Try it with 1 order and see if it auto manifests.

Also you dont have to post it within 24 hours if you just have the label its only when you get to the dispatched and manifest that you have to send them and thats only in case they have you on check so they can match everything they receive that day to the manifest.
