Change SKU
Hi, I have several products I want to change the SKU, to stop warehouse issues and fall into line with rest of inventory… all I want to do is change SKU.
I realise this cant be done by me or Amazon so I do this:
- Go to product detail page
- Click on ‘Sell on Amazon’
- I then enter new SKU and complete other offer details
- When new offer appears in my Amazon inventory I print new labels, send inventory to new offer and delete old offer, the one with the SKU I dont want…
Is this OK?
Is this way of simply adding a different offer going to create any issues?

You can’t actually change the current SKU. Which I think you understand.
If you have any inventory at FBA currently, then I would suggest that you wait until it is clear.
But you literally just need to create a new SKU.
The easiest way, is to go the inventory page, find the ASIN and use the dropdown, for add a new condition.
Creating a new offer won’t cause any issues, but do be aware, that you can’t (for example) have two FBA offers at the same time.

Hi Neil, no this is genuinely a thing. That’s why you are to create the new condition first. Then after you created that new SKU… Go back into it after it’s been created and go into edit listing… you’ll see thr description is all blank.
