Ungated then Gated?

Hi, please can anyone shed any light on what has just happened to me? I have recently shipped an item (10 units) having been able to sell this item and obviously list it. Now it is showing that I am gated??

The only thing I can think that could have possibly happened, is that I was gated on another item in that brand so I applied…and now I am gated on that brand completely and therefore what I’ve shipped is no longer eligible to be sold by me?? (Btw, they haven’t notified me of this as yet, I just noticed it when checking my inventory).

If so, will Amazon return the stock to me and will I get anything negative on my account because of this?

Many thanks

This seems to be normal now
New sellers are allowed to list and send stock and then they are gated until they can provide a valid invoice

Have you been asked to send anything ?

What brand is it and did you buy directly from the brand, a trade only wholesalers or, another retailer ?

As you were gated on the 2nd one you applied for, presumably your application was denied ?

We are also ‘gated’ on 6 new products from a supplier we already sell from and in a category we already use. Despite letters and backing contact from the supplier being submitted these items remain ‘gated’ to all sellers with no know cause as yet. The rest of the range also has incorrect details which were submitted to Amazon with what to change and what to update to (as requested by Amazon) - the reply was basically do it yourself. Good luck with the ungating but be careful what you commit yourself to.
