Amazon UPC for a product is different from the upc my wholesaler provides
Hi there!
I want to sell a product pre existing on amazon, the upc on amazon is different from the upc that my wholesale supplier supplies, yet it is the same product. I checked the wholesalers UPC on GS1 and it coordinates with the right manufacturer who owns it.
When i put in the UPC to amazon “add product” nothing comes up.
Should I create a new listing or should i send the items to amazon with the wholesaler upc and ask amazon to label the units at a 0.15 fee per unit, since they cant use the manufactures barcode anyway…
The wholesaler also provides labelling but it is at 0.25 per unit.

is the brand correct though on that asin ?
I would advise staying away from that listing as you will not be able to provide invoices for the correct product if the UPC is on the invoice
aside from that, it needs to have the correct barcode in order for amazon to label them

does the other upc also go to the same asin?
an asin can have more than one upc/ean associated to it
often through merged listings.

Hello @Fast_and_Novel,
Have you managed to list the products?
