trying to get ungated with receipts

i was told i was allowed to get ungated for items as long as i had an invoice and i thought a receipt was good enough. now i need help or answers to whether Amazon will even accept these, if so how do i get ungated using receipts for something without an invoice? if i cant do that is there any way to get an invoice later from the store?

Amazon wants you to start with the brand itself -- obtain a letter of authorization allowing you to sell on Amazon. Find out from the brand the names of their authorized distributors. Supply that wholesale invoice.

Amazon does not want sellers buying retail to sell retail. It's more then just the difference between invoice and receipt.

There's also more than just getting ungated. Amazon allowing you to list something is not the same as having the right to sell.

Sellers who have been ungated with receipts or with nothing at all still face the possibility of having their account suspended / losing goods (if FBA) / having funds seized.

No, no and no. Receipts are not invoices.

Contact the manufacturer or manufacturers authorized distributor directly and inquire if they are accepting new dealers. If so, find out requirements ie: minimum initial stocking purchase, monthly/quarterly order quotas, payment terms, selling restrictions and any minimum allowed pricing rules. Read and sign legal contracts to become an authorized seller and submit to manufacturer/distributor for approval. Place and pay for initial stocking order, submit copy of manufacturer/distributors invoice showing paid to Amazon for product approval. If approved then you can sell online.

I been having the very same issue with getting ungated until I took pictures of product and resent my invoice to Amazon, majority of the time it’s the system that denies your invoice and not a real Amazon associate. My advice is to download the invoice to your phone or computer and upload it again. Don’t reapply just do it as a new application. Hope it works for you.

As @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6blalready stated, you have to have authorization by the brand in order to sell on Amazon. If your application ends up being rejected, this can be due to a variety of reasons.

One thing I'll add is to closely review this video on Guidelines to Sourcing and this help page on the Letter of Authorization.

These resources should help guide you while also listening to the great advice already provided.

Thank you!
