Product delivered TOO soon!

We ship products on the same day for next day delivery with DPD.
A situation with Amazon (and their advice) is to wait shipping in two days from order because
otherwise the delivery date potentially will be before the dispatch date and they don’t cater for that
and subsequently we get penalized with “Not On -Time delivery”.
I would say this is ridiculous if they don’t take this into consideration!

Well as it’s a ship by date, rather a ship on date, that doesn’t make any sense.
Just sounds the usual rubbish from support, without them actually thinking first.

However, I would imagine that you need to change your template/handling times so that they show the correct period of time, instead of an extended one.

Thank you Neil for that.
I tried to change the delivery time but I can only set it to 2-3 Days (excluding handling time).
I asked support the question again and they are yet to respond!

No. The customer got his order four days ahead of time and he is happy.
What I got was an On-time Delivery flag saying that the package was not delivered on the expected date!
When I sent support the delivery proof that it was actually delivered and signed well in advance, they said it was because I delivered it before the “expected delivery date” and the system was expecting to see a date before that date! What a lot of nonsense if you ask me!

Are you seller fulfilled prime? As I use DPD for FBM and always ship and delivery way early, and have never had this.

No I am not PRIME. I always have been shipping the same way with DPD way early and long before expected delivery times, but this is the first time I got this from Amazon! Its something to watch!

So how do amazon get around the problem with their Prime listings, if they can do it why cant you.
No doubt we will have the usual Amazon apologists responding, but this is another example why sellers are getting so hacked off with using Amazon as a sales platform. The fact that this is the way Amazon works does not excuse practices that in the normal world would not be acceptable to the average person.

I think there is another cause for the issue you;re having here. I don’t see it being as SS told you.
