SDS Help
I am a brand new seller and have already sent my products to Amazon FBA to be sold. I recently received a possible dangerous goods classification and needed to send an SDS. After reaching out to the manufacturer, I received one and sent it to Amazon, but they are saying it is missing information. How in the world do I get another SDS with the information they are wanting? Am I going to loose all my product? I'm so scared I'm about to loose all my money I invested already.

About safety data sheets
A safety data sheet (SDS), previously known as material safety data sheet (MSDS) is a detailed document prepared by the manufacturer or importer of a chemical. An SDS includes information such as the properties of each chemical; the physical, health and environmental hazards; protective measures; and safety precautions for handling, storing, and transporting the chemical. SDS are mandatory for all chemical-based products that offer on our store and can be obtained from the manufacturer or supplier.
Required information
You are required to have this information. We may ask you to submit it at any time, so we recommend you have it easily accessible.
Safety data sheet
The creation or revision date must be within the last five years
The product title or product name, as it appears on the Amazon detail page, must match the same as the product name shown on the SDS

SDS must be provided in the language of country the product is sold. If your product is sold in multiple countries, you are requested to provide an SDS in each of those countries’ languages. For example, if you sell the product in the US and Mexico, you must provide an SDS in English and an SDS in Spanish languages.
Information on SDS must be consistent with the product labeling information
Must include all 16 standard SDS sections in the right order:
SECTION 1: Identification of the substance/mixture and of the company/ undertaking
SECTION 2: Hazards identification
SECTION 3: Composition/information on ingredients
SECTION 4: First aid measures
SECTION 5: Firefighting measures
SECTION 6: Accidental release measures
SECTION 7: Handling and storage
SECTION 8: Exposure controls/personal protection
SECTION 9: Physical and chemical properties
SECTION 10: Stability and reactivity
SECTION 11: Toxicological information
SECTION 12: Ecological information
SECTION 13: Disposal considerations
SECTION 14: Transport information
SECTION 15: Regulatory information
SECTION 16: Other information
Details about the requirements for each section can be found in OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard (HCS). For more information about regulations and requirements for the sale of chemicals, go to .

If Amazon said that you miss some information, it means that the SDS file has problem. You just need to confirm the combine material and confirm that whether have dangerous material, and then find the Professional organizations to get the new SDS file.

The bots prefer a picture of a document than the document in the same format you receive it. If the sheet does not match the manufacturer exactly or the trade name it is sold under is not listed on the sheet, you have a serious problem.
