Royal Mail CRL service
My vaild tracking tracking rate has been dropping each week, now down to 70%, and when I looked at the report as to why it appears that if Royal Mail do not scan the letter as received at the customer then Amazon treats it as ‘not a valid tracking rate’. Does that sound correct please? So my VTR is now critically below target because of RM poor service. What are my options please? How serious is this? Thanks

If you are using CRL and they are the only ones on the defect report you shouldn’t need to do anything - amazon will validate the unscanned orders

Thanks for your response. ok - the critical event warning is just a bit scary on the home page, and will not go away.
BTW Royal Mail have responded and said they don’t know why over 100 CRL orders are not showing as delivered - I think that is actually the bigger concern. Why so many RM24 and RM48 CRL orders not being scanned as delivered/lost? Is that not what we pay for? Is anyone else having this problem with Royal Mail CRL or just Royal Mail in general - lots of large letters ‘going missing’?
