Hermes mistake as a courier
Sent a parcel with Parcel2Go with tracking to customer…Customer stated today that 2 weeks ago courier stated deliverd to shed and lo and behold customer states never recieved…
Seem to have no leg to stand on.

Hermes are rubbish, don’t use them. We had 2 delivered to and signed for by “shed”
Shed is a lazy driver who stuck the item in a random neighbor’s shed.

We are forced to use Hermes due to price. Over 2kg they are soooo cheap. To be fair for the most part they are good. Its just the odd courier who decides to leave items in stupid places and not leave a note confirming where its left.

Have you tried their tracking at myhermes.co.uk?
It now shows both the GPS location and a photograph of where the parcel was left.
Go to hermes.co.uk enter the tracking number, then press “Full tracking details” button. Enter the postcode and you get the gps and photo.
If not useful P2G and Hermes will to an investigation and you can claim from P2G if the parcel cannot be located.

I’ve only had problems with hermes when using parcel2go.
When using ebay shipping no problems with hermes collecting, but with parcel2go they often miss out collecting, or it takes days extra to deliver.
A hermes parcel sent to italy via parcel2go took 3 days longer than one sent the same day, picked up at the same time by the same driver, going to the same address but I booked that directly, as I couldn’t get payment to go through for the second one on parcel2go.
So I always pay the extra few pence and book directly and not through parcel2go

Im working with Royal Mail and after I paid 10+ GPB for 3 products 5 KG each I tested Hermes for product 2KG-5KG
Im paying 6.99 with pick up from my address and 6.49 if I want to drop off the package.
No big issues at this point. 1 damaged product and they covered 20 GBP and also refunded my shipping taxes.
I also know parcel2go are even cheaper than Hermes and RM but a lot of people sharing negative feedbacks for their services. Still didnt tested them.
