Rejected Bank statement for verification!
Hello,
I was asked to verify my seller account and have already uploaded an ID card and a bank statement. The bank statement only displays my first name’s initial (e.g. “J Smith”).
Could this be the reason why my bank statement was rejected? Additionally, can I use a bank statement from a different card (not associated with Amazon) that shows my full name?
Any helpful advice would be much appreciated.

It needs to match the name you have registered on amazon exactly
And must be the statement of the bank account you have registered on amazon - not the card
Are you registered as an individual, a sole trader or a ltd ?

Hello @SupplyGap
This is Art from Amazon to assist you.
I understand your concern regarding the identity verification on your Amazon Selling Account.
I would like to let you know that the name on your bank statement should match the name which is displaying on your Amazon Account.
In this case, we would encourage you to submit the bank statement from the bank account which is associated with your Amazon Selling Account.
Please reach out to your bank for further assistance and submit the documents as requested by our team.
If you need any further assistance, you can post here so that we can help you.
Regards,
Art.

I had this problem a few weeks ago, I was told by someone from Amazon the bank statement has to have a stamp from the bank itself, so i had to go into my local branch and ask them to print off my most recent statement and stamp the paperwork. once i done this they were able to verify it.
