Amazon Settlement Periods

Good Morning all,

I’d like to ask if anyone has encountered the same problem when your seller account grows beyond the manageable excel spreadsheet level for accounts.

For the last 2 week period of payment we can go into the Payments area, change the settlement period and click ‘Print this page’ to see a formal overview of the account during this period.

When we try to see this as a full transaction view, we can only download 600 lines. When we adjust this to the ‘All Statements’ view and download the Flat File, the start number (Beginning Balance) and end number (Account Level Reserve) are correct, but we can not work out the other fees. For an example, if the ‘Other’ fees should be £100 but turning off all filters and only applying those labelled Other in Excel shows up around £70…

The main question is how are others handling accounting outside of Amazon? Do you have a dedicated person to do the number crunching? Do you use a 3rd party software to handle it for you? Our account(s) are at this stage where manually it just seems too lengthy to reconcile invoices every 2 weeks.
