Buyer gets automatic full refund for "No Longer Needed" return.
Why is this even a thing? Buyer orders a $50 item. Gets it and is like "oops, I don't need it" drops it back in the mail and Amazon just processes a full refund. I even processed a partial refund before they sent it back hoping that might trigger the system to *not* process a full refund and it still does. I'm out the $7.99 it cost me to ship it. And thats even higher than the $7 that I do charge for shipping, which was refunded by Amazon.
I have this box checked "I want to offer Free Returns for none of my items", and While there is this in the refund area:
Additional refunds/charges Cost Amount to refund/charge Return shipping $5.40 Charge amount
I can't click it because Amazon already processed a full refund.
I wasted 20 minutes of my time testing the item, 20 minutes packing it, and another 15 dealing with the retesting and restocking of the item *and* am still out $13 due to the buyer not bothering to even check if the item would work for them before ordering.
Please look at order 111-7665223-5930610 and cover my costs and maybe I'll actually consider buying something on Amazon rather than just selling stuff.

Hello @Seller_2srXkS44rN39i
Thank you for posting your inquiry to the Forums and for providing that order ID number. I am looking into it and will respond with any findings.

We noticed that buyers with the reason "No Longer Needed" are getting full refunds as well.
We've seen it where they stated they shipped to the wrong address and ordered a second to the correct address or had it for almost a month and returned it heavily used.
