Brand Registry not removing image violations – stuck in endless review loop, seeking help from Amazon mods to take action
We have encountered multiple cases where another seller has copied our original product images, simply overlaid their own branding, and used those altered images on their listings. In every instance, the image composition, layout, and product styling are identical to ours — professionally commissioned for our brand and not available under any public licence. Previously we've had these images removed under the copyright violation option.
IDs -11561326762 and 11578863722
Now BR are take days to review which results in a reject which they state the following:
We cannot act on your report for one of the reasons listed below:
Copyright image mismatch
The description of your copyrighted work does not match the content that you reported as infringing. If you believe this decision was made in error, submit a new report with the intellectual property that you believe is being infringed upon and the corresponding ASINs.
Incomplete notice on copyright image
We do not have enough information to evaluate your report alleging the unauthorised use of images. Submit a new report identifying those images by providing a complete text description of the image content or by including a direct link to the image(s) as it appears on Amazon or other sites.
Refer to the email that you received regarding this case for further information, and to this help content to find out more about reporting copyright infringement.
Despite submitting complete copyright complaints (with direct ASIN links, original URLs, and full explanations) we are getting no where.

Hi @Seller_vneMypCZkP1Zo
Sandy from the community manager team here. Thank you for your post.
I looked at the images you are reporting vs the images you claim copyright to. It's a tough decision based on the reviewer as it's really hard to tell and it might be something a copyright attorney needs to come into play.
I see that your reports were accepted previously but you're seeing this show up again after reporting? This means that the seller that received the claim appealed to Amazon that this decision was incorrect and they were able to get their ASIN reinstated.
I cannot provide any legal advise, but I know that you have one case that is under review. If that becomes declined please let me know and I'll reach out to some internal teams on if they can investigate further.

Hi @Sandy_Amazon
Brand Registry accepted the ID 11583101152, but the seller didn't get the original (violating image) reinstated as they have now changed the arrangement of the products. I have filed a new case under 11586647732 - but they have rejected it, and I'm not sure why. The seller has changed the arrangement but the images have been derived from our original image and we are again seeking that Amazon strike out the image.
Can you please raise this internally? As you can see from our history most of our claims on this issue have been rejected, but then after several attempts it gets accepted. We don't have the ability to continually file cases to hope to land on a acceptance, only for the seller to repeat this again within 24 hours.
Looking forward to your response.
