Never seen this before - message about order but error when clicking order number
I’ve got a case in with SS tonight (no chat as after the cutoff time) but interested if anyone else has come across this.
I have a message in seller central from a customer asking if the order can be delivered by x date
The order # as per usual is shown in the right hand column of the messages on seller central but when I go to click the order number I get a “unknown error - try later” message.
If I search for the order # directly there is no trace of the order (not in pending and not in unshipped)

As long as the order number wasn’t just mentioned by the buyer but is inserted in the relevant field of the buyer-seller messaging interface, indicating that the communication is genuine and not a scam attempt, it could be a technical issue.
I would advise you to try clearing your cache and cookies or using a different browser.
These days, many sellers are reporting similar technical issues which can be easily resolved by doing so, as the Seller Central may not work properly unless you use a supported browser/ system.
