We are currently trying to register for VAT to be able to sell on Amazon via FBA in the UK. But HMRC has asked us to fill in a questionnaire.

We haven't got our shipment set up yet so I'm not sure how to answer this:

"Tell us the names and addresses of all distribution centres that you use or intend to use to store these goods?

Name of distribution centre Address"

I sell from Australia and have sent my first order to the UK. I have been charged VAT on the item and the freight. If I am not from the UK do i have to register for VAT in the UK or is there a way where I do not need to pay the VAT?

Hi there, I am just starting up on Amazon and will be launching a new private branded product. The is mine that I have created, but is not registered or protected. I wondered whether it would be worth registering the brand, or if i am able to still list it on Amazon as it is without any issues. I get I am not protected if i list is as generic, but I cannot see anyone contesting the brand/logo. I want to see that the item works/sells before i register the trademark. If I am able to list it under generic (I wont use the brand name in the title or description), am I able to later change it to branded if I decide to register it? Appreciate any advice, thank you!
