remove products and send under a new ASIN

Hi,,

I had a problem getting seller authorisation as a branded product for a long time, so I had to send my products to Amazon Fulfilment centre as a Generic ASIN. A few days after my products arrived I was granted authorization for a Brand product. I asked Amazon to change my inventory to the new brand ASIN, but they told me that I need to create removal for those units and send them under the new ASIN.

Does this mean I have to ship them out of Amazon and resend them, which seems ridiculous? Or is it merely a matter of imitating the resending of the products?

I looked online and it said there would be costs involved per item too. What kind of figure are we looking at? It is an oversized product and the information I looked at on the Amazon site said it could be as much as $13, which again is ridiculous.

Thanks for responses

You will need to remove goods completely, create a new ASIN and send back in yes.

Below are the fees for removal of overside items. It will depend on the weight

I was just recently forced to do this for 3000+ units for UPC code issue. Cost me almost 1400-1500 for removal and return shipping. Insane. Then comes affixing new label and shipping it back in.

whatever size it is, the product needs to be relabelled and Amazon does not offer such servces. So yes you have to bring back to your warehouse and ship it again- or sell the ASIN out
