I only sell one item on this platform and my feedback manager used to be all five star until today. I received a one star for an item that is not remotely mine. I don’t sell garden “stuff”, I sell coffee and only coffee (FBA). To make it worse Amazon has informed me that my detail page should be clearer and more informative. Do they want me to list all the items I don’t sell ? I realise it’s a mistake but how do I get it removed ? I can’t contact the customer or if I can the procedure is certainly unclear. I also understand I can’t ask the customer to remove the feedback, that is if I’m allowed to make contact.
I don’t want Amazon to strike out the feedback, I want it removed.

Sadly, they wont remove it. We've had it too in the past and you just get nowhere on this platform. AI doesn't speak very good English, and of course the chance of human involvement, let's just say that you'd be better off trying to win Euromillions. You just have to move on unfortunately...
Common sense never prevails when it comes to customer feedback. Amazon don't remove it when it is for the wrong product.
As annoying as it is I would let is go, write a polite response on the feedback to tell customers that the buyer made a mistake.
Also remember Amazon policy states you can only ask feedback removal through feedback manager. Don't go raising new cases with Seller Support to ask for removal as this can lead to actions on your account.
Personally I think they should include a reason for removal as 'Item not sold by this seller' - or something similar.
Thanks.
The one star on my feedback manager came from a regular buyer. I’ve ‘messaged’ the buyer a few times regarding my brand and the buyer previously reviewed my product very positively. The one star was a genuine mistake and was meant for another seller. Problem I have is there is no way of making contact, I’m FBA.
I’d like to contact the buyer before I respond to the misdirected feedback,

Hello @Seller_FhfzIInmoIaYS,
I'm Sarah with Amazon.
Can you please share the Order ID so I can check how I can assist?
Kind regards,
Sarah.
I had a similar thing a while back. I got nowhere with seller support who quite clearly didn't bother to read it, so I took it to the managing director and got it removed eventually.
The feedback related to a pair of shoes - which I have never sold.
Sadly there's just too much incompetence with Amazon.
