Children's Product Certificate for selling on Amazon USA
Been selling in UK and Europe for a number of years and now want to sell on Amazon.com.
I want to sell toys and am being asked for a Children’s Product Certificate (CPC).
Does anyone know how I go about obtaining them. Bit frustrating as the items are already listed for sale and are a known brand.
Thanks

Probably a good idea to delist these until you obtain the necessary certification, unless you want to risk suspension, or worse if you aren’t complying with relevant US requirements.

We’re not in this catergory but there are previous forum posts talking about this issue;

your original post [below] confused me then, I read that as the items already being listed…

The manufacturer would have that if they are a known brand. If its not your product you will need to provide the manufacturers certificates in all likelihood. If they wont give them to you, I think you have no option but to delist.

I agree with delisting the product until you have the correct certification or run the risk of account suspension that may affect your existing business, this can be a lengthy process of reinstatement.
