Amazon Never Respond!
I am sure I am not the first person to enconter this problem but I need advice on where to go next?
We have been selling a restricted item on Amazon ( we did not know it was restricted as there are at least 6 sellers advertising the same item but slightly different makes) but ours has been removed while the other sellers, some from abroad, are still listed. They have been on a couple of years in some instances.
I opened a case asking 2 quite simple questions but 5 weeks later no answer from Amazon.
At first we recieved a message saying that the case would be looked at urgently and now each week all I get is a message saying it has been passed on to the relevant department for consideration.
Yes I know some of you are going to say it is a resticted item so stop moaning but why are other sellers selling the same item without restriction? Do the rules only apply to some sellers and not others?
Can you escalate an open case to anyone as getting through to correct dept is like getting an audience with the Queen?
I get the impression they are just going to wait for me to go away because I am asking why some sellers are selling restricted items without any action from Amazon.
I am letting all my listings, including my FBA products, run out as I am selling only one item on Amazon a day compared to 20 a day on e-bay.
Amazon’s customer service is shocking… If they do not want to respond how can you make them?

If you e-mailed the Seller Performance only to ask, why are other sellers still able to sell a restricted item while you are not, this would explain the lack of response.
On Amazon, all sellers are required to carefully review the Amazon policies and guidelines before listing any items for sale.
The other sellers are still selling, because they weren’t caught yet. The fact that their listings are still active cannot be used as an excuse and Amazon will not give you any explanation.

You do not know if those other sellers obtained permission to sell this item on Amazon or not, unless of course it is something that is banned in the UK, in which case count yourself lucky that a listing restriction is all you have received.
Those other sellers may have obtained all the necessary documentation and permissions, or they may simply not have fallen foul of the bots yet.
It is immaterial to your situation.
