How I get on the first page
Hello,
Can someone recommend me what I have to do to be seen on the first page of the department?
F.E. may I have to do sponsored ads, get more clicks?

To be on the first page of a section you need to have 10,000+ sales of that item per month.
To appear high in search rankings you need to do as many of the following as possible:
- ensure the product listing is optimised with all relevant keywords, good description, good bullet points and good quality images
- sell via a prime shipping method (e.g. FBA or SFP) or failing that MFN/FBM with an expedited shipping option
- have good sales performance (e.g. low defects, low customer complaints and if shipping yourself on time dispatch and valid tracking where possible)
- after you’ve got all the above, if the listing is still appearing low in the search results then look as sponsored ads.

Hello don’t take full notice of what BarryM said with having to do 10,000 sales a month because you don’t I have a product on page 1 that does about 30 sales a month it all depends on how niche your product is and how saturated the category of that product is so if you got a product where there is pages upon pages of the same item but just different branding pictures then it will be hard to reach page 1 and stay there the best thing is to just have pictures that stand out to the rest make sure they are all on white background NO writing all over the main image and big words put a sponsor down at about £3 daily and just monitor how it goes for a few days make sure your key words are also top best way to do that is by pretending to be a customer and type in the search box what you would put to find your product and all the search words that come up will be your number 1 keywords for the product.

I Think I do have good pictures and all necessary fields are filled in. The problem may be is that my account is new so products are just listed, so I may have to use Sponsored ads to get on the front pages.
Actually, if I search by category I even can’t find my product in any first 7 pages. Will be there something wrong?
