Why is it that, when some other sellers are running low on stock it will say something like ‘Only 15 left in stock (more on the way)’, whereas mine only says ‘Only 15 left in stock’?
This is even though I have a shipment on its way.

You’d need to look it up, but i think it relates to the in-stock head start feature and what courier you use / whether there is decent inbound visibility.
Edit - now i’m not sure because all that feature really does from memory is count inbound items as available stock and set a longer delivery date.

My stock starts to show up once it’s in transit. Though never more than a few units.
I do think a lot will depend on how good you are at actually keeping in stock as well.
