Change price by upload

I tried to change prices by uploading a file. Read an advise to download a template “price and quantity” from Add Products via Upload page, but found it only in Help- Inventory file templates- Price &Quantity Update. On Add Products via Upload page found only “Basic” template. In any case tried several dozens time with both template files, got a mistake 90009. Uploaded in both txt and csv formats. What’s wrong, please?

Regarding the error code 90009, please check this thread where the moderator Jessica provided some advice on what could be the cause behind it:

Thank you. But main question is:
what’s the template I should use to upload price change file:

  • STEP 2 : SELECT THE TYPE OF TEMPLATE
    -Lite, -Advanced, -Basic
from Add Products via Upload Inventory page
    or from Help menu topic:
If you go to this page: [Inventory File Templates|https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/gp/help/help-popup.html?ie=UTF8&itemID=1641] you can download the Price & Quantity Update template from the first table.
    Can you advise, please

Thank you, got it
the manual says:
save a copy of your file as a text file (save as a tab-delimited text),
I use OpenOffice, it hasn’t option to save in this format
what’s the format is available else?

Saved in CSV, added only one SKU with a price, changed nothing, but:
“The file’s header row is missing or invalid. The header row is for Amazon use only and must not be modified or deleted. To correct this error, download the template again from seller Help and use that new copy, or insert the correct header row directly above the column headings in your existing file.”
How to avoid it, please?
